I speak on behalf of my ailing mom who is terrified that her medicare benefits will be cut. I do hope that this will not be detrimental to my MOM’S health. You see, she is sixty seven years old and she has PAH or cardiopulmonary hypertension. She is taking a drug that she needs in order to breathe and this drug cost is excess of 7,500 dollars a month. It is being paid for through health insurance, medicare, and a non-profit organization called caring voices. Yes, the cost for health care is ridiculous but should my mom’s life be sacrificed just so some idiots in washington, DC can prove to themselves that they are right and everyone else is wrong? I am sure that Maria Cardona doesn’t give a damn about my mom but she nor anyone else has the right to decide my MOM”S LIFE!!!!

P.S. The drug my mom is taking is called Letaris and there is no generic form to this drug. Also, research is still ongoing to find a cure for this ailment as well as what causes it. So there can be not LIFESTYLE change here for it is not warranted.

A doctor at Duke Hospital stated that my mom needed this drug in order to breathe. My mom is 67 years old and she may not matter to Maria Cardona but she means a lot to me. Yes, the health care cost are ridiculous but should my mom’s care be sacrificed just so some idiots in Washington can be right?

P.S. The name of the drug is called Letaris and there is no generic for this drug. Also, they are still researching what cause PAH so there is no lifestyle change warranted here.

First i never heard about you. My name might look like hispanic but it is not. I am a latino but from Europe. This Sunday morning i was watching C Span and you realy prove to me about your bias .First we have good imigration laws in the books I came under thoes laws and they work very well .I came got my imigration card ,aquire my Social security card, and work pay taxas .Now this illegals come dont pay taxas use the system for free the smart frase is ( no Hablo engles)for their own benefit to get away from court cases like trafic violations and more. To say that we need imigration reform is absurd.What you OBAma and others advocat is legalize these millions that should be deported to their countries and arrest the ones that give them work .This people are taking most of the constrution jobs that are still available.Most of them government jobs like schools, prisons ,roads etc.This people if they are legalize and become citizens are indeed a big block of voters for your Democratic party .You and your party dont care about the consequences that it brings to this country just power.Poor older people have to pay for the illegals to have. Stop to rob the medicaid make it better not worst.I hope you read this message i have prove and know this peole very well and even use thewelfare system. You can reply if you want .I will tell you more.

I have heard the 47 million number, and do not believe there are that many people without insurance.
Unless, you are talking about all of the illegal people living or hiding in our Country.
I own a small business in Texas, and have 13 employees left. The down turn in the Oil business has hurt us, and with Crap and Tax, the Obamacare, we will have less people.
I have several employees that do not want insurance.
We pay 50% of there part now. We used to pay 75%. This Administration is wrecking the economy. The Stimulus Bill, that is PORK laden is not helping.
I beleive that if the Government can wreck the whole economy, the will have the people where they want them, and people will have to live off of the Government.
I am not going there!
The Democtats took over Congress in 2006, the DOW was 14,500, look at it now. Tells me that they are screwing up everything. I believe we will be TAXED out of business. Makes me sick………
